So, Ich habe jetzt einmal einen kleinen Alleingang gemacht. Nämlich war ich eines Abends so vor dem Blog gesessen und hab darüber nachgedacht, wie man so an Informationen für einen Missionarischen Einsatz kommen könnte, weil wir selbst da ja wenig Möglichkeiten und Connections haben. Deswegen habe ich an die Missionsabteilung von Wiedenest eine Email geschrieben, in der ich unsere Überlegungen mit einer Bitte um Vorschläge kundgetan habe.
So, und jetzt habe ich heute Abend von dem Hubert Keil eine Antwort bekommen und möchte euch die Ideen vorschlagen, die er sich überlegt hat.
Ich weiß, dass wir uns noch gar nicht darüber ausgesprochen haben, ob wir jetzt wirklich etwas missionarisches machen wollen, aber es schadet ja nicht, schon einmal Perspektiven zu haben.
Also folgendes hat Hubert geschrieben, dabei muss gesagt werden, dass ich auch von unserer Vorliebe für Osteuropäisches geschrieben habe, sowie von Rumänischkenntnissen einiger unserer und von der Geldknappheit:
Zuerst hat er von einem Jugendmissionseinsatz von Wiedenest in Österreich berichtet. Dazu gibt es auch Informationen in dem Jahresprogramm von Wiedenest. Leider liegt der Einsatz außerhalb der Bayerischen Ferienzeiten, was ihn wohl ausschließt.
Dann hat er mir verschiedene Emailadressen von Missionaren geschrieben.
Einer ist in Bosnien und macht dort sozialmissionarische Arbeit, also Mission in Verbindung mit praktischer Hilfe. Von diesem gibt es auch einen Rundbrief, den ich versuchen werde, hier anzuhängen, wenn das geht.
Der nächste ist ein von Wiedenest unterstützter Missionar in Serbien und er hat schon öfter Sommereinsätze mit Jugendgruppen aus ganz Europa gemacht.
Dann gibt es noch einen Mann in München, der jeden Sommer Aktionen im europäischen Ausland macht, bei denen Flyer für einen Fernbibelkust verteilt werden. Durch diese Arbeit seien schon mehrere Gemeinden unter anderem in Kroatien entstanden.
Außerdem hat er eine Email nach Rumänien geschickt, ob dort vieleicht eine praktische Hilfe möglich wäre. Da gibt er mir bestimmt bald wieder Antwort.
Diese Möglichkeiten sind ihm wohl spontan eingefallen. Hubert wird am 17. Dezember bei uns predigen und hat gesagt, dass er bis dahin vielleicht noch mehr Informationen haben wird. Dann können wir uns vielleicht noch einmal länger mit ihm unterhalten.
Außerdem hat er angeboten, vielleicht mal eine Jugendstunde zu halten über Mission. Da könnten wir vielleicht auch einen Termin finden.
So, ich hoffe, dass dies ein paar Anregungen für euch sind und dass ihr euch schonmal eure eigenen Gedanken dazu macht. Diese könnt ihr dann ja hier als Kommentar hinterlassen.

Dear Friends:
Let us thank God for his priceless gift II Cor. 9.15
I am writing this article from the United States where I arrived at the beginning of October for a two-month trip to visit some of our supporters, churches, and friends, and to develop our planning for the various ministries before continuing the work that is increasing in Bosnia. I thank God for the marvelous friends from Louisville, Kentucky that provided for our tickets and hospitality. My sister came with me also.
It is with joy that I once again send you the news of our work and ministry in Bosnia. The last few months were very intense. Many activities with teams and individuals came to help with several ministries over the summer. We had a large distribution of school materials for the beginning of the school year with 450 parcels of school supplies provided to the needy children in Zenica. We are most grateful to God, and those whose generosity made it possible for the poor children to go to school.
My sister was of great help to me and her departure in September left a vacuum in our ministry. We thank God for her arrival in Bosnia to help us in the Grace Center to work among the children. She is now in America to learn English. In January, she will return to Bosnia to help a dental team from Brazil. In February, she will return to Brazil to discuss with her church the possibility of sending her out as a missionary.
We saw an increased number of children who came to the church by means of the children’s club, which takes place every Saturday. A few Sundays, there were almost more children than adults. Now we are praying that more people will be interested in working with the children. Meti, one of the youth who lives with us, has shown that he is gifted to work with children, and we are encouraging him help with the Sunday school.
The church advances gently. The responsibility for the work is now in the hands of the nationals. It is a new stage in the life of our church and we are grateful even though the transition has been difficult and we have seen a decreased number in attendance. I became an associate member of the church to cooperate in the formation of the leaders and for the establishment of new communities in the area. Great changes will mark our ministry in Bosnia in the coming months.
New People in the Team
Thank you, to all that have prayed and are still praying for the kingdom of God to advance in Bosnia. God is answering our prayers.
Three families will arrive in the next months. The first is a Brazilian family: Josué, Lindabel and their two children. He is a dentist and will work with us on the dental clinic project. One of our goals is to train nationals to do preventative care in the schools. He will be able to go two days per week in the villages that do not have a dentist, and to spend two days in our clinic in Zenica serving those in the city. We hope that this new phase of the dental clinic will open doors in the villages and the small cities that do not have a Christian testimony. These friends will also help us in the development of the house groups and work with the children. They came on a survey trip last September with their pastor to visit the area and see whether it was really, what they wanted to do. Thanks are to God who confirmed in their hearts that they should come to Bosnia. They returned to Brazil to generate their support and prepare to come to Bosnia next February, God willing. Please pray for them and that they can raise the support they need in order to join us.
The other family is Ukrainian. I mentioned them in one of my last letters. They also came to visit us with their church leaders. We await their final decision, but apparently, they are ready to move to Zenica in May 2007. Juri will help us in the construction of the bible camp, and help in the leadership training and work among the young people. He has four children: a 19-year-old boy, an 18-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy and a small 3-year-old girl. Keep praying for them.
The third is an American family. Jason, Paula, and their three little children, have worked in our city with another organization. They intend to join us in the spring. Jason will work for the farm project on the same land that we hope to acquire for the camp. We are in need of other people who could come on a short or medium term to assist us in writing some business plans and in our administration center.
mir wird in letzter zeit soziale arbeit in verbindung mit persönlichem zeugnis immer wichtiger und immer mehr zu einem anliegen. ob das nur eine persönliche sache ist oder irgendeine verbindung mit der kje-freizeit hat wird sich noch zeigen, aber ich muss sagen, dass mich dein post begeistert hat, Jona.
ich werde auf jeden fall weiter darüber beten und nachdenken. dass du kontakt mit hubert aufgenommen hast finde ich sehr gut, denn so kommen neue impulse in unsere diskussion.
ich denke, da sollten wir auf alle fälle dranbleiben.
